[Sarti, Armida e Rinaldo] Lungi dal caro bene - Cesare Valletti Lungi dal caro bene - Johana Rosicka Bongiovanni label, Release date: 2004 사족: Giuseppe Sarti의 곡, "Lungi dal caro bene (Far from the loved one)" 혹은 "Lungi da te, ben mio (Far from you, my love)" 같은 노래이지만 약간 다른 가사이다. 그리고, 이 곡의 출처로 언급되는 오페라 또한 일치하지 않는다. 왜 이런 문제가 생겼을까? 궁금하지 않는가? 아래는 웹써치 (googling)를 통해 얻은 정보를 종합하여 내린 결론이다. 이 노래의 원 출처는 Sarti의 1776년 3막 오페라로 후작의 영지에 거주하는 시골 처녀들과 후작의 관계를 다룬 희극 "Le gelosie villane 촌부들의 질투" 이다. 하지만 아리아 "Lungi da te, ben mio"는 현재 남아있는 이 오페라의 score에서는 찾을 수가 없다. 다만 이태리의 고문서 기록들에서 확인할 수 있을뿐. 이 노래는 약간 다른 텍스트를 사용, 아리아 “Lungi dal caro bene” 로 1781년 Venice 첫공연, 그리고 1788년 London 공연의 오페라 "Giulio Sabino" 에서 카스트라토 Luigi Marchesi의 음성으로 다시 불려졌다는데 인쇄된 libretto에는 이 아리아가 기록되 있으나 현존하는 score에서는 찾을 수가 없다. 가장 결정적인 단서가 2004년 St. Petersburg의 music festival 준비 중 발견되는데 Sarti가 러시아 체류 중 쓴 오페라 "Armida e Rinaldo" 이다. 이 오페라는 그해 6월, "Mariinsky Theatre of the Hermitage theater" 에서 초연된다. (위 CD 이미지 참조) 대부분의 commercial CD들이 이 곡의 출처를 Giulio Sabino 에서 Armida e Rinaldo로 바꾼 이유이다.
