Luciano Pavarotti* * Digitized from LP Joan Sutherland Cecilia Bartoli 일설에 의하면 이 시의 저자로 알려진 Maddalena Fumaroli는 Bellini가 사랑했던 사람으로 그녀의 아버지의 반대로 결혼에 이르지는 못했으나 Bellini 일생의 진정한 사랑의 대상으로 남은 여인이란다. 하지만 이 곡은 1821년 초반에 쓰여진 것으로 Maddalena와 Bellini가 만난기 전이니 이 Fumaroli 얘기는 하나의 전설 정도로 생각하면 되겠다. 이 시의 저자 또한 정확치가 않다.
